Dr. Stefanski’s Story

I’ve had health problems since I was a young child. Frequent infections, stomach pains and digestive problems were just a part of life growing up. As I got older, I developed thyroid disease which went undiagnosed and untreated for many years. The chronic stress of 6 years of medical education caused my adrenal health and progesterone levels to plummet and my thyroid disease to spiral out of control.

I know what it feels like when your body turns on you. I know what it’s like to wake up in the morning and feel like giving up. I’ve been there.

But I’m here to tell you that yes, you can turn things around. I’ve done it myself. The path is not always easy, but it is the most rewarding work you can do in your life!

There are some universal truths when it comes to recovering from chronic disease. But I've also discovered that every person needs a plan personalized for their individual health story, their genetic profile, and biochemistry. There are no one-size-fits-all medications, diets, supplements, or exercise plans.

I use extensive lab testing in my practice but I look past the numbers at your symptoms and individual health situation.... you are NOT a number! Lab ranges are based on averages from the general population and they do not always represent optimal health. 

The ultimate reward is seeing my patients come back to life, and feeling healthier and more energetic with each visit. And they are thrilled to be able to live the healthy life of their dreams!  

Dr. Stefanski's Biography

Dr. Jessica Stefanski NMD LAc FABNE is a licensed naturopathic medical doctor and licensed acupuncturist in the state of Arizona. She is a naturopathic endocrinologist and a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Endocrinology. She maintains a practice in Scottsdale Arizona. 

Dr. Stefanski completed her 6 years of medical education at the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland Oregon. NUNM is the oldest accredited naturopathic medical school in North America. She graduated with doctorate in naturopathic medicine and a masters degree in acupuncture.

Dr Stefanski is a member of the Endocrinology Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
